After experiencing the challenges of Black Friday deployments firsthand, we've developed a unique tool for replaying production traffic locally, ensuring zero regressions. We're searching for a dedicated backend engineer to help us with our roadmap. This role is ideal for someone passionate about crafting flawless, yet speedy deployments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine backend applications using Java and its frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with developers to meet their needs, following a practice valued by our founders.
- Create a rapid, reliable log scanning pipeline.
- Integrate third-party APIs into our platform.
- Manage cloud services across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solve software performance issues.
- Maintain high code quality through reviews and adhere to best practices.
- Suggest process improvements and engage in technical discussions.
What We're Looking For:
- 4-8 years of Java development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Java, JVM technologies, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Proficiency in Docker and familiarity with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and try new technologies.
