Codecademy (YC S11) is looking for engineers and designers
1326 days ago
Codecademy is the easiest way to learn to code. Since we left YC this past summer, we've hired some amazing people from all over the world and from great companies and educational institutions. We raised $2.5m from great investors like Union Square Ventures, SV Angel, and Yuri Milner. Most importantly, we've reached more than a million people and started showing them how important it is to learn to code.

Now, we need your help. We're hiring great engineers and designers to help us teach the world to code. On the engineering side, our stack is composed of Ruby/Rails/MongoDB/backbone.js and a lot of stuff we've rolled in house. We're working on a lot of cool problems - compiling platform technologies to javascript, building highly scalable and secure virtual environments, applying our unique data set to personalize education, and more. We also place a high priority on design at Codecademy and we're hunting for both senior and junior designers.

Interested? Shoot us an email at jobs@codecademy.com with a GitHub/Dribbble and some information on what you're passionate about. Thanks!
