Nice to see it getting back on track after the delays from the whole OpenSSL refactor.

Originally it was planned to be released in July but this prompted a complete release replanning.

But good things come to those who wait!


OpenSSL 1.1.1 is EOL, so it was unavoidable. On the other hand, 3.0 is LTS, so the impact of the refactor will last for a while.


I know the reason, one thing I don't understand why this wasn't planned for from the start.

But it's not a big deal. 13.2-RELEASE is great.


please stop. i just upgrade to 13.2.


13.x expected end of support is January 2026. 12.x expected end of support is December 2023. It's better to have two (and briefly three) supported major versions than one.

FreeBSD installs don't turn into a pumpkin at the end of support date either.


No need to rush. 13.2 will remain supported for more than half a year (13.3 release date + 3 months).
