For the Climate Change deniers: Can't you see that every year it's getting worse? Okay, natural or caused by humans, don't you think we should take this a bit more seriously?
Not a denier, but rosy retrospection is a thing, and there are other factors at play. I'm in California, and human development in high-risk areas and forest management have both been contributing factors to wildfire severity. I don't find one-off, localized events especially swaying. Sea water temperature and average temperature are much more interesting.
and that's just this storm. a lot of other countries in Europe got hit by severe floods earlier. it's definitely been a weird summer and not business as usual
