To me, the best demos were made by groups of three people: a coder, a musician, and a graphician (pixel artist). This mix of talents could lead to amazing things.
Back in the days I had little respect for the fourth kind of demoscener, the so called "organizer" (not listed in this post). I thought these people lacked skills in every department, but still wanted to be part of the scene, and therefore invented a job for themselves.
It turns out that it is exactly thanks to these people that I heard about demos in the first place, and that I have so many fond memories of that very special time. So, ehm, thanks!
