I think someone was testing a military drone on me the other night.

New moon, so pitch black, can barely make out a tree in back garden. Bird squawking noise coming from tree 30ft up, but the one low light reflection of what would be its eye was bigger than a birds eye, the low light reflection suggested a 1"-2" diameter eye!!

That then makes me wonder is this a drone with toroidal style props as these are much close to being silent besides being more energy efficient, but with a bird feather like construction for improved noise reduction instead of a hard 3d printed plastic construction. Its the only explanation I can come up with due to its silence.

Why test at night? Your hearing ramps up to compensate for loss of sight.
