Even my one-a-day is disturbingly opaque. Given the revelations over the pharmaceutical industry in the last few years it's probably dumb to just blindly trust them, but how else am I going to get all of these vitamins in me?

(b) do you really need all these substances? How trust worthy are the people telling you that you benefit from these chemicals? ARe those the same people hat promised to include those chemicals in the pills?
