How long before Rocky, Alma, and the other "we're going to recreate the spirit of CentOS" distros consolidate?


They will never consolidate with Oracle.

Alma will be pulling Oracle's updates, however, which they will compare and contrast with CentOS stream.

"In the immediate term, our plan is to pull from CentOS Stream updates and Oracle Linux updates to ensure security patches continue to be released."
