While we can't really predict the evolution of Reddit apps, in the light of recent API charge issues, I think it is safer to update - one more time - all the accounts one has ever used (active or suspended), with saved Reddit links ("Reddit bookmarks"), using something like export-saved-reddit [1]. Others may have better solutions, but this one - for me - worked well for many years, and still does.
