Why enclaves exist: from von Neumann to secure enclaves (evervault.com)

Careful if you are using Chrome.

That site is doing something that doesn't work well on Chrome, at least on my Mac. It seems fine on Safari and Firefox. It's OK on Chrome too with JavaScript disabled.

On Chrome with JavaScript enabled I see scrolling problems that annoyingnoob mentioned. Then my other window that is playing a YouTube video stops playing and gives the spinning thing you get when it can't get data fast enough. The fan on my iMac then turns up to near full,. If I close the evervault.com tab then it recovers, but if I'm too slow on that I get the beachball of doom and have to force quite Chrome.

In an incognito window which has no extensions other that 1Password it still does the above, so it probably isn't extension related.

Is it just me or is that web site unscrollable?

just you

weirdly broken

Context on why trusted execution environments exist: from von Neumann architecture, to Bell's Law and virtualized cloud computing, to RISC-V.
