I honestly expected the video to be about a road LITERALLY getting a DUI, since I've heard of weirder things happening, like a cat being elected mayor[0]. It turned out to instead be an interesting case study of a really wobbly-looking road. I can't decide which one I would've preferred.

HN will very rarely put a video longer than couple minutes on the front page, nobody is going to watch something and then come back after and upvote it, and once it's burried, it's not going forward to the front page. Videos are generally better served in the comment section unless they're short. You're right in that HN enjoyes things that make you go "hmmmm, weird but cool" and this video is a prime example of that, it's just too long as a video. Keep on contributing!
