For me, Godot in Android has two important points:
- run Godot IDE as VR on Android VR headsets. It is awesome.
- the cheaper tablets with keyboard (such as old notebook or OLPC). It could be a good for computer class in schools with less resources.
The Oculus Quest port is apparently already working, but don't hold your breath for store release. Godot Editor includes the asset downloader which would allow users to fetch games and other content without Meta's approval. They want to have control over the platform and user experience (though not as much as Nintendo or Sony).
