I received this email from the Mailbrew team today. Signed off from Ev Williams.

————————————

Dear Mailbrew User, I am writing to let you know that Mailbrew has changed ownership. Your friendly creators, Francesco and Fabrizio, have decided to focus on Typefully. Because I was a fan and user, I offered to take Mailbrew off their hands, so we could continue to support and improve this wonderful product.

As you may have noticed, if you were a paid subscriber, we stopped charging you a while back. Mailbrew is now free—indefinitely. Which is to say, we are not focused on revenue. It is not to say there will not be a paid option in the future. We'll let you know.

Nothing else significant is changing in the near future. We will continue to iterate and improve the service. If you have ideas or feedback, please let us know at support@mailbrew.com

Ev.

I got the same mail, but how do we know this Ev is Evan Williams?

He’s the one who invested in typefully in October https://typefully.com/announcements/twitter-co-founder-evan-...
