I think entertainment in general may be very atavistic: I was shocked during an interview for a TV network (one of the three at the time) when the interviewer straight up told me he was looking for personal loyalty.

Obviously Disney has more staff they they want. Some things are logical team activities but some things are not. He’s unfamiliar with, say, it people and going by diktat. He can end up hiring new ones.
