This is an independently created word game our family has been working on for a few years. It has uses a license plate motif for word puzzles where the quality of the answers drive a virtual travel experience.

The game is web-based, works in all browsers, is fully responsive for mobile screen sizes and also works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It is written in Django/Python and a modicum of Javascript.

If I reject additional cookies I will get Stop sign Do not enter and cookie bar won't disappear (seems it disappears after next answer).

So this is basically vocabulary game what word you can make up from 3 shown letters and it's not really about travelling, just your results are shown in form of travelled distance.

We'll look into that stop sign issue as it does not sound like the right behavior.

We have tried to make solving the word puzzles into a virtual travel experience. You are following actual routes in the country, show them on maps, while also highlighting the cities, town and landmarks as you reach them. We show images from the locations, route and road signs and interesting city facts of the places along the way. Thus, we would categorize it as also a game about traveling, but maybe there is a stricter definition of that game category that we are not aware of.

Interesting!

Thanks! We thought it was interesting too, but that's probably obvious since we decided to invest the time to develop the game from the that idea ;-)

ews -> sew (Too Short)

The game's word puzzles are not a word scramble-type challenge. The valid answers will preserve the letter ordering, but fill in additional letters around them. e.g., "newspaper", "elbows" are valid answers. And because the letter order is preserved, we require adding at least one extra letter which means all valid answers need to be at least 4 letters long.
