They really want to end contracting in the uk. At this stage its becoming less and less worth being a software engineer. If ai wont kill this type of career then taxes will.


Maybe they do, but this article is about prosecuting a type of tax fraud by some intermediaries.

It shouldn't affect honest contractors working with honest companies.

(Unfortunately, the article gave me the impression of risk to contractors who don't know they've been working with a fraudulent umbrella company. Hopefully not.)


Nah, what they're talking about is a pretty obvious tax fraud.
