I suffered from a kind of parasocial-thing. I still don't know what you'd call it. Some kind of parasocial meets maladaptive daydreaming issue.
I never went to therapy or anything, and I managed to fix it on my own but it was legit and hard to break. I imagine these kinds of things are getting more and more common these days...
