I wonder if at this point a nice feature for the site would be to just auto add a link to the archive version next to any Bloomberg article.

OT: is 'not wrong' different than 'correct'?

I've been curious, is there a non-boolean case, e.g. 'irrelevant', etc? Why do some say 'not wrong' instead of "He's got a valid point." or the like?

I suppose in general saying "not X" is weaker than saying "Y" where Y is known to be a subset of not X.


You can be right, you can be wrong, and you can be halfway there.


So "X" roughly means 100% X, "not Y" means less than 100% Y--short for "not entirely Y".
