Very interesting, having used Grafana in the backend. I had plans for exploring the space for non-intrusive privacy-friendly observability libraries for the Frontend. Are there some other notable tools?

It should work with OpenSource. You should be able to use the Grafana Agent to write to your Loki and Tempo backends on-prem as well.
