"submersion of the world in water". What is seldom put in words, it might be frozen water: the mighty glacial sheet, the real cleanser and fertilizer.


My favorite part is Líf (whose name means "life") and Lífþrasir ("lover of life"), two humans who survive the apocalypse and repopulate the earth. I feel like they're Eve and Adam of the new world.

This reminded me of the "Almighty Johnsons"[0] and apparently the "Ragnarok" series on Netflix is like a Norwegian version[1]. I also thought Norsemen[2] about vikings was hilarious.

Yes: Stopping (SIGINT/SIGTERM/SIGQUIT) the Emperor will invoke Ragnarok and kill all the vassals.

I loved how they got around the Master/Slave thing with Emporers and Vassals. Cudos for doing this even before it became common practice
