Wikipedia [1] covers the same topic with less funny-chat-chat (and less emphasis on Antonio de la Ascensión), but the creator also has detailed source notes [2].

I have a low tolerance for videos with tone like: "Hey kids, did you know honey bees have a queen and are themselves called drones? Pretty cool, right?" I hated that tone even when I was a kid.

Thanks for this. Seems like a topic better learned from a wiki article than a video.

I couldn't get past the audacity of this asshole disturbing someone on public transport to pitch him a fucking advert. I suppose it's probably fake and it was his buddy, but still.

It's literally his camera operator, you can see it in another shot.

Right, I figured it was a set up and not how I first interpreted it, but that initial impression stuck and I just couldn't carry on watching the rest as I was so nauseated by him after that.

I think it was just a bit.

Same... wtf

The link starts a few minutes in, to the video title sequence and an in-video ad. Here's a link that begins with the actual content, right after the ad.

SponsorBlock [1] is a browser extension that skips in-video ads.

You know I've always wanted to use unicode bold characters in an HN title but I never had the balls.

Guidelines suggest that one should not do stuff to make the headline standout so like best to avoid this kind of thing.
