It's a URL Buffalo, cool! However I get 'connect refused' on mine

    curl "http://http://http://@http://http://?http://#http://" --resolve http:80:127.0.0.1


That means you most likely don't have a web server listening on 127.0.0.1 port 80


you can use the ip address (and port) of any other webserver you know about instead of 127.0.0.1


So, Python urllib, the JS URL object in Firefox, Chrome, and Node.JS, the address bar in Firefox and Chrome, the Rust url crate, PHP's parse_url, and wget are all of the opinion that this URL does not contain an authentication section.

Interesting corner case where curl seems to disagree with almost everyone else I can think to interrogate.
