The post presents a useful categorization for team type in tech orgs, and includes her analysis of her own team, which helps clarify purpose and responsibility.


The idea that IT or security cannot be recursively defined to have docs, test plans, coaches, infrastructure specialists, or coordination apart from "software development teams" when IT and security both develop systems and software seems a bit off the mark.


It would be a good idea for the OP to read the Systemantics book :-)
