It's always nice to see new design that doesn't embrace the all-encompassing focus on minimalism that's been dominant for it feels like the past two decades.

Personally, some of these are evocative of Alegria[0] -- the bubbly monochromatic (hideous) corporate art style that is dominant in America -- with a Chinese flair.

I don't think it's quite the Corporate Memphis style. This is more abstract and cartoony, not as uncanny valley anthropomorphic.

Large flat bold colors are pretty much the trend these days.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this style. Colours look very acidic and not pleasant to look at. YMMV

They are posters, so the colors will definitely look different in print than on screen.

I’m guessing these are spot colors from the Pantone catalog. The nominal sRGB value is often quite different from what the actual pigment looks like in different kinds of lighting.

The lighting of the space is something to consider particularly for poster color design, as posters typically need to look striking from a distance in rooms with uneven lighting.

Reminds me of The Designers Republic: https://www.thedesignersrepublic.com/

They did the design for Wipeout on PlayStation as well as all the artwork for Pop Will Eat Itself

Couldn’t manage cookie pop-up on iPhone. Bane of designers everywhere. Looks pretty but it doesn’t work right. Haha
