Google keeps stealing my Google voice numbers, despite having a credit balance

Am I the only one experiencing this with Google?

The primary number I had associated with my cell phone had a 10 dollar balance on it, and I literally put the google voice number on presentations.

Despite logging in frequently to check it online, they sent me repeated warning emails and eventually took back the number, despite having a 10 USD balance on the account.

Now they are coming after my personal google voice number.

Google needs to be regulated as a utility if they are going to provide phone numbers. This is a huge problem.

I have had a Google Voice number since the service began and have never had them attempt to take a number away. I can't even remember the last time I logged into the Google Voice site. I use it purely for voicemails since it provides transcriptions of voicemails.

You have provided zero context as to why they took the number away and why they are coming after your personal google voice number. What did the warning emails give as the reason for reclaiming the number?

I received warning emails for almost a year over and over.

I would log in immediately, they would stop, but then start up again a month or two later.

Even though I had logged in, the last time they sent me an email that my number was reclaimed. Then they ignored my emails about their mistake.

I have used Google voice since it was called grand central and have never ran into this.

I suggest purchasing the Google One subscription for $1.99 a month and ask them directly. I would not try to email them.
