Make Mad Eliza Work

Now that the original ELIZA code is available (elizagen.org), we should figure out how to make it run. It's in MAD-SLIP. There's an Open Source MAD interpreter (due to ESR: http://www.catb.org/~esr/mad/) and JW published most of SLIP (with the notable exception of YMATCH and ASSMBL -- but these are well documented).

Oh...right, a question: Is there an open source challenges page where where folks could publish problems like this one?






The design of Eliza is very simple. There is not much value in running the original implementation when you could write a new program that behaves the same.
