Show me one place where high uptake of the shots has ended the COVID crisis. How many people is sufficient? 70%? 90%? 130%?
Why are they mandating the shots in February instead of now? By the time widespread protection kicks in it'll be the end of March, most likely past the natural end of the crisis. If they're going to trash everyone's rights, at least make it effective. Are they braindead?

Yeah, like we didn't know that winter would bring in a surge of hospitalizations. How about promoting and giving away vitamin D supplements during autumn? That alone would have prevented thousands of hospitalizations and probably avoided the entire crisis. Why haven't they worked on healthcare infrastructure during the summer to help it deal with the coming surge? Why are indoor spaces still not ventilated? Why are they changing the rules every week? Do they have any actual idea of what the fuck they're doing?

Portugal is doing quite fine. Let's see what happens over the winter.

The right to remain unvaccinated? Give me a break.

Are you living in Austria? If yes, you should know that the current Covid crisis has been caused by irresponsible politicians and could have been avoided easily. Some of the things you list are not wrong, but they are far from the full picture.
It's a reference to something a Russian soldier said to a civilian in Berlin after it fell to allied forces in WW2. Some Berliners, who stayed in Berlin throughout the war, thought they could show that they weren't fascist supporters by calling out "Towarisch!" (another word for comrade) to the Red Army who were entering the city. Instead of being greeted back, they were laughed at then robbed. Basically it means we are not friends, and you'll get no sympathy from me after this is all over.
my initial other post[1] got auto-banned and I'm assuming it's because it pointed to a non English source. So I'm reposting this from an English language source. Apologies ...
It doesn't seem to say what exactly they are going to do to force people to vaccinate. Swat their homes? LOck them in those jail chairs they use in China?
