The submitted title was "Terence Tao's first published paper, at 8 years old". That's excellent information to add, but it should be added as a comment, not as an editorialized title. This is in the site guidelines: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html: "Please use the original title, unless it is misleading or linkbait; don't editorialize."

This, unfortunately, seriously affects the chance of clicking on the link, because it hides the most interesting bit of information.

Rules are rules, but shortcomings are shortcomings :-\

Yes, but it had made the front page at the time, which already guarantees quite a lot of attention.

This is a journal about a series of interviews with Terrence. It was written at approximately the same time his first paper was published.

Quite a fascinating read.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Even the

320 print "(brmmmm-brmmmm-putt-putt-vraow-chatter-chatter bye mr. fibonacci!)"
shows something beyond most of us. :-)

Terence's blog is a wonderful view into his research and background, as well as a catalog on the immense amount of work he has accomplished in such a short time. Will be interesting to see what future accomplishments he can achieve.
