We can argue over whether Rust is a better low-level systems programming language than Zig; but that's not what I meant. C didn't shove you into a straightjacket, and neither does Zig - that's why the latter can meaningfully claim to be the true spiritual successor of the former. Rust is something else entirely (again, whether that "something else" is preferable is a different argument!).
dude, people are dumb and code has to work. we even would like it to scale per core. rust is it. this zig seems a personal project not the c replacement for the next 50 years.
