We'll collect all the data we want from you, but you collecting any data from us? Unthinkable!


Well this jumps the line to actively evil, even hurting blind users in the crossfire. Surely this will turn people away from Facebook, right? Right?


Reminder: if you work for them, in any capacity, it is well past time you quit.

Do business with them? Don't. It is well past time you stopped.

"Depend" on them for your <whatever>? No, you don't.

Break the monopoly.

Break the dark patterns.

They are irredeemable and provide no service which cannot be done in an ethical manner,

all it takes is moral clarity and leadership,

rather than amoral sociopathy as culture.

That's not hyperbole. Go read the WSJ stories. Go read any of it. Go read any of the 100 whistleblowing.

Act like maybe your mortal soul, and civilization, mattered.
