hmm - my father was a trained goldsmith and active in that time frame. There is no accounting for "taste" so, if you like those example watches, certainly there are no others like them! and I will recall that Vincent Price, actor and public character, once said "there is no great beauty without some strangeness of proportion"

however, I find most of those examples to be unlovely. Please do find a way to explore the wealth and craft of fine jewelry if it pleases you.. there are really incredible works in existence, including but not mostly, wrist watches.. probably with a lot less hype than these..


Do you have any examples you could share? While I can't say I would be a huge fan of Grima's work, some pieces do look quite unique and pretty bold too. Definitely delivers a statement.

I wouldn't have bought a single one of them, this is obviously my personal opinion, but they are all ugly. Maybe I'm not rich enough to appreciate them. I'm a classic digital Casio person myself.
