Help us build carbon capture for semi trucks!
Remora is an early-stage climate tech startup backed by Chris Sacca and Y Combinator. We’re building a device that captures the carbon emissions from a semi-truck. We sell the captured carbon dioxide to concrete producers and other end-users, helping companies earn new revenue while meeting their climate commitments. Our founders include a former EPA scientist who pioneered mobile carbon capture during her PhD and a former diesel mechanic turned engineer who built electric semi-trucks for some of the world’s largest automotive companies.
We're looking for a Mechanic who is interested in working on climate change. You'll work with our engineering team to create new designs, diagnose and repair electronic diesel engines and diesel after treatment systems, build wiring harnesses, do some engine dynamometer testing, and perhaps some welding. We'd especially love to talk with you if you've custom-built your own projects.
Everyone on the team earns the same exact salary ($80K!) and everyone owns significant equity. Apply now at https://www.remoracarbon.com/jobs and mention that you found us on Hacker News.
