The Raku syntax for list comprehension[0] is very similar as well.

Julia:

    [ x^2 for x = 1:5 ]
Raku:

    do $_² for 1..5;

Or:

    [ $_² for 1..5 ]

alternatives:

  do .² for 1…5

  (1…5)»²


alternative alternative:

    do *² for 1..5;
