My grandfather who lived in that area said there were water quality issues after the war in some of the nearby rivers, as so many bodies were dumped. He also referred to Srebrenica from time to time. He was part of the resistance, the partisans.

You can be proud of him. The Slavs who fought against the fascists were the true heroes of the war.
