Find the Error, if any, in this “proof” of the Riemann Hypothesis (arxiv.org)

While it's highly unlikely to ever be proven by someone outside of the traditional academic circles (and in less than 20 pages...), how depressing would be be if they'd actually succeeded and 5+ years later, no one's bothered to confirm it? For all we know, an error was discovered when this was submitted for peer review, but we'd have no way of knowing that.
