What began during YC S10 is quickly transforming into what pg has described as “a new square on the periodic table of the internet”, and we need hackers to help us build it. Our cofounder Jonathan Good recently gave a talk at TEDxSF outlining the need for and the mission of 1000memories: http://1000me.ms/tedx1m
=== About us ===
Our users love us – We don’t yet collect revenue, but our users think we deserve compensation for the product we’re making, and they send us cash, food, and other gifts.
Investors love us – We were the first YC S10 company to raise a Series A (from Greylock Partners). Our employees receive great salaries and meaningful equity while still having the responsibility and freedom to make a big impact.
We’ve got an incredible team of Rhodes Scholars, MIT grads, and top-notch designers working out of a beautiful office in the Mission.
Despite being a “touchy feely social media” company, we have a ton of really interesting technical challenges that we’ll be facing in the coming year.
Our stack: Rails on Heroku, jQuery on the front-end
