This hypothesis can be easily tested by seeing how well he can distinguish between human generated and AI generated art.

Yeah, just like Chress or Go played by a computer is fundamentally empty because something something something. But just like computers with Chess and Go, they are likely to exceed our abilities or at least meet them, in time when judged using neutral and objective measures of performance.
