Ask HN: Are there any audiobook services that exclusively use text to speech?

I've been doing a lot of driving lately and have been getting into audiobooks. I've been using Scribd but I've found their catalog lacking and I'm not a fan of Audible's pricing method. Ideally I'm looking for an audiobook service that uses text to speech for the narrations instead of actual people. Those technologies have gotten good enough in my opinion that I could easily listen to a bot narrate for 8+ hours.

I like this app (voice dream) for text to speech: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/voice-dream-reader/id496177674

Buy books wherever you want, then put them into voice dream to listen.

If you live in the US, you can digitally check out audio books for free from public libraries. You get the quality of audio without any of the cost.
