I used to really like MeteorJS, but I don't follow it much these days. Feels like it's been a really long time since v1 (looked it up, v1 was 2014... so 7 years.)
Same here. I had actually thought they were not planning to continue it, but when I went to check on that I was (pleasantly) surprised to see this release.
I had a ton of fun making some interactive tools for an one gaming community back in the day.
