Yes, beside paying $200 for a Windows license, you have to spend many hours removing all the annoyances you mentioned. I boot into Windows sometimes for certain apps and I'm still struggling with these annoyances after several years of using Windows. This effectively increases the cost of Windows far beyond the license cost.
