A bit more detail -- this paper is quite an easy read, and uses data from various sources to quantify the effect of fire and damage on the building. One of those sources -- referred to as "a virtual reality project" -- involved measuring the building in vast detail for Assassin's Creed. That data is now being used to help rebuild it, and the devs have fiscally helped as well [1].
Just curious if anyone knows what's the difference between this sort of acoustic imaging vs matterport[1] offers. I know matterport is all visual, I would like to know the gory details.
