It's a totally valid point. Our current finances are the result of past financial decisions.

Despitr the magic money machine narratives that are so popular today we cannot just make unlimited more money when we need it without sever condequences. So spending vast sums in the past affects our ability to help us citizens in need today.

Commenter doesn't want to give this $4 billion to the military.

Commenter wishes the $4 trillion used to fight wars was not used for that and instead at least $4 billion of it was given to FEMA.
