Whatboutism. They at least make a critical article about it and they're also a simple newspaper website, not the heart of the internet.



Canned arguments like "whataboutism" break the site guideline against shallow dismissals and also the one about calling names in arguments.

So you think if NYT were the heart of the internet they will actually do better? Nonsense; the reasons NYT does it at their scale and Google does it at their scale is the same.


Indeed, one controls the most expensive property on the internet, their influence is way beyond the NYT.


Can we just automatically flag posts which mentioned "whataboutism"? THey are utterly ignorant and add nothing to the conversation - like this one.
