I read the orginal Buzzfeed story (https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ryanmac/tech-titans-wom...) linked in this article and to me it looks like a non-issue. Of course others may think this is a scandal of the century!

From Buzzfeed article:

A little more than four hours after the original Twitter discovery, a Cucinelli representative sent me a statement explaining what had happened.

“When we realized we didn't have a shot where all attendees were represented, we added in photos of two female CEOs taken during the weekend,” a spokesperson wrote to BuzzFeed News. “The photos were shared and approved with all the participants including the two women, Lynn Jurich and Ruzwana Bashir, before posting them on Instagram and they also shared the group photo on their own Instagram handles.”

There is, of course, more nuance than "non-issue" and "scandal of the century".

It's good to know that these women were actually present, but I still find it interesting at least that nobody noticed that two people were missing for the photo (regardless of their gender). It does, in my opinion, indicate a certain disregard for these two people..

Edit: changed "show" to "indicate" in the last sentence

There were a third attendee that also were not present in the group photo.

"Asked why Bezos wasn’t added to the photo along with Jurich and Bashir, the spokesperson said that the Amazon CEO declined to be included."

So in total three people were missing from the group photo of the total 18 that attended.

Does it, in your opinion, indicate a certain disregard for these three people...?

I'm confused by the comparison because, as you stated, Bezos declined to be in the photo whereas the other people did no such thing.

Bezos declined to be added, ie photoshopped into the photo.

Bezos wasn’t photoshopped to the photo along with Jurich and Bashir, because Bezos decline the offer to be photoshopped into the photo. Jurich and Bashir accepted the offer to be photoshopped into the photo.

Bezos, Jurich and Bashir attended the event. All three were missing in the group photo. Each three got a offer to be photoshopped in. Two accepted, one declined. That is what the article writes.

"nobody noticed that two people were missing for the photo" is missing the fact that three people was missing for the photo. Bezos, Jurich and Bashir.

Not really. With such a big group it’s easy to think that someone else surely would have notified the missing people.
