I always see this claim in Reddit and sensationalist news articles, but I have never seen actual evidence of this. One would think that given the (supposed) frequency of this, an email or phone transcript that lines with this allegation would have leaked or passed on to some media outlet by now?

Yelp is terrible. They actually extort business to show good reviews as well

Indeed!! Yelp specifically makes me glad that I'm in a B2B sort of business and not subject to their extortionate behavior.
