Are there any good books or resources that comes to your mind for better understanding what you've described?



There are a number of good books on both leadership and management. Harvard Business Review has a lot of smaller books on leadership and management like this one:

One of the challenges though in management is understanding what the business wants from you. Once you understand that you can be effective (and pick the right books to read)


I have found The Manager's Path useful about this. She goes into good detail about what it means to be a manager vs a tech lead, for example.
