Reddit's founders have stated otherwise, though they've also been less than consistent on the point of free speech.

Private / commercial actors do have accountability, though it can be difficult to trace.

I'm neither arguing against limitations on public discussion, or defending private fora as equivalent to public spaces (I disagree with both views). But I'm noting that in a strict interpretation of your comments, neither statement is true.




Well, I mean, they say that, but ultimately it's always subservient to other goals they have. I guess maybe you are right in a technical sense.
