Can I forward any ramblings to the post's opinions editors and get them published?

This article doesn't even include any of the counter arguments that lead to these programs being defunded. It would be nice for even the slightest amount of effort to be made to show what this money was being spent on. Does the post and this author expect me to belive that Trump cracked out the good-ol dart board for this job?

I much prefer this article from The Atlantic [0] because you get to see how these budgets have trended over time and where Trump has differed from Obama and Bush.

If you look at these, you can actually see there are very few places where he isn't sticking to the trend that Obama set.

Loving the commenters here who didn't read the article. Is that what 99.99% of the internet does?

Spoiler alert: it's a parody.

None of these "agencies" were around when my grandparents were in prime age and they did fine. /thread

On a serious note, in the early 60's, his yearly wage was less than $3500 a year. And even with 4 kids, he bought a brand new house, and two cars. Later he bought a gas station down the street. He sold that a few years later[0] and bought an auto repair shop. Sold that in 1983 for $200k and built another shop that is still in the family.

I won't say how much I have in savings, but it is somewhere between $10k and $100k. And it feels completely useless. I work hard for the money that I make that can't buy anything. Perhaps I'm jealous, but seeing someone who knows nothing sit behind a desk so they can enforce/make "regulations" while milking a pay check tests my Christianity.
