Ask HN: Reading Suggestions to Improve Technical Writing

I am looking for any reading suggestions (books or blogs) that could help me improve my technical writing skill. I find myself need to involve more with less technical people in my new role. I feel like I could not explain the technical stuff really well, often in verbose that makes them overwhelmed. I'll be grateful if someone could point me to a good source. Thanks
