I don't mind the forks, as they are all happening out in the open.
What i do mind is how existing, well established distros are being hijacked by stary-eyed techies rather than spinning off their own proof of concept that others can adopt if they want to or not.
Especially when said hijacking happens not overtly but subversively by tightly integrating previously separate projects to create a TINA situation.
